DC Hybrid Skating would like to say congratulations to a few youth hockey players for their recent accomplishments.  

Jared Rabey-

Jared has recently been selected by the Indiana Ice of the United States Hockey League (USHL).  Jared has been training with DC Hybrid Skating for many years as a youth and we look forward to working with him again this summer.  

Andrew Schmidt-

Andrew recently was selected by the Chicago Steel of the United States Hockey League (USHL).  Andrew currently attends Culver Academy in Indiana.  He will be a part of our summer program as he has been in past years.

His brother Aaron, who also trains with DC Hybrid Skating, just finished his first season at Ferris State University in the CCHA.  

Marty O’Grady-

Marty recently received a NCAA Division 1 scholarship to attend Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) this coming fall.  We look forward to helping prepare him for his first season at RPI this upcoming summer.  

Jose Delgadillo/Garrett Allen-

Jose and Garrett both have been selected to attend the USA Hockey Development camp this summer.  Good luck to the both of you and congratulations on being selected!

Congratulations to all of you on your recent accomplishments from DC Hybrid Skating!  

Current Treadmill Members-

DC Hybrid will be moving all current treadmill members online the week of April 6th in preparation for our new treadmill format starting April 13th.  All current members will be receiving a user name and password via email.  Once a member receives their user name and password they will be able to go to www.dchybridskating.com and sign in to view their current account status.  Once logged in, all members will be able to navigate through our online treadmill calendar and schedule future sessions accordingly. Because the new format is going to be at a reduced cost of $40.00/session, we will be crediting current members treadmill sessions accordingly.

Current/Old Program-

90 minute session, 8 person maximum, 15 minute warm up (approximately), 10 minutes for players to dress (approximately), 30 minutes of actual treadmill time (approximately), 20 minutes shooting (approximately), 15 minutes dynavision boards (approximately)

Cost of $50.00/session

New Program Starting April 13th, 2009

60 minute session, 60 MINUTES OF TOTAL TREADMILL TIME!, Online Scheduling and Payment, 5 person maximum/3 person minimum

We strongly recommend all players still arrive early enough for a 15 minute warm up to optimize your performance on the treadmill.   (warm up not administered by staff)

Cost of $40.00/session

DC Hybrid is excited to announce the launch of our new web site designed by JADE International right here in Brookfield, WI.

The site will make signing up and scheduling programs much easier, as well as, new and improved methods of payment.

We hope everyone enjoys our “New Look” as we head into another great season together!

Matt Medvecz will be our new Youth Director at DC Hybrid Skating.  Matt is a very accomplished player (Div I at Miami of Ohio) and has had extensive training and mentoring under Dave and Curtis for over two years on youth development and growth.

We welcome Matt into his new position and know you will all enjoy working with him as much as we do.

DC Hybrid Skating signs a three year deal with Under Armour to be apart of their 12 member Performance Training Council. 

Dave and Curtis will be doing training blogs and working closely with Under Armour on testing new clothing, new training methods, and camps and clinics.

We are excited as well to have the resources like Under Armour as part of our IST (Integrated Support Team).
