Goalie Specific Summer Programs
Goalie Specific programs (18-16 age players)
SGI Hockey in conjunction with DC Hybrid Skating is pleased to announce a 10-week off-season strength, conditioning, and flexibility program geared toward hockey players. Mike Lane will be involved for six weeks on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday mornings conducting goalie-specific on- and off-ice workouts incorporating position-specific movement drills to develop explosive power and balance, reflex and reaction drills, foot speed, hand-eye coordination work and goaltending tactics and techniques.
This curriculum is perfect for Midget Minor, Midget Major, high school, and junior aged goaltenders preparing for the coming season and looking to take their game to the next level. There is no other off-season, extended program in the area taking into account the needs of goaltenders.
